Author Guidelines

The International Journal of Digital Media Design (IJDMD) actively promotes the concept of integrating professional digital media design with academic research. It emphasizes the integration of design into research and research as the foundation of design. In addition to promoting foundational research, it seeks to deepen understanding and clarify the needs and quality faced by society and individuals in their daily lives through applied research. In terms of future goals, there are new plans to strive towards a quarterly publication frequency. Regular research paper submissions are scheduled for publication in June and December, with a special international issue in September. In March, the journal will feature design and creative papers. The aim is for the IJDMD to provide a platform for academic exchange and the sharing of research findings within the academic community. Simultaneously, it hopes to raise industry awareness of the journal's impact on practical applications, encouraging the industry to invest resources in research and innovation. In practical terms, besides the utilization of the online submission system, starting from 2022, all papers accepted for publication in this journal will have assistance from the executive editor to apply for a DOI code. This facilitates faster identification and referencing of published papers, in line with the indexing requirements of international databases such as Scopus and DOAJ.

Below are the thematic scopes for academic submissions to the IJDMD, but they are not limited to these. Contributions are welcome from various disciplines such as art, humanities, social sciences, education, business, engineering, and linguistics, as long as the topics are related to interdisciplinary papers in the field of digital media design.
